Echoes of Divine Rhythm

Women praying with her head down against the ground over a sunset. Flames of fire lay beneath the ground.

I wish I could say I regret all of you,
The you in my eyes,
The you so deeply etched in my brain,
The you tattooed on my heart,
The you that sends shivers down my spine,
The you I wish I could hold so tight near my lungs,
The you that you are unaware of.

But the you I once had for a time brought me back to my true reason of life,
The One I came from,
The One I return to,
The One I can never turn away from,
Al-Malik.

If our paths were more aligned side by side,
Maybe I would’ve found lasting happiness with you,
But I trust Him with my path to guide the soul to true peace,
Al-Mu’min.

You were the lesson I needed,
The lesson sent down from above,
The lesson chosen for me by Al-Hakeem,
A blessing indeed,
So I must thank you for that.
JazakAllah.

I had always wondered if I could love as much as I’ve read in my books,
And then I met you.
To learn to love so that when the true time comes,
My soul will be ready.

Without hesitation, without doubt,
Knowing that love is not just a feeling,
But a choice, a commitment, a journey to be walked together,
With His guidance,
Ar-Raqeeb.
Alhmadulilah.

In your presence,
The whispers of something deeper followed me,
A bond beyond words, beyond time,
The beauty of His wisdom,
Ar-Rahman.
SubhanAllah.

When the true time comes,
It will be Him to reward me with the rizq of true love,
Ash-Shakoor.
InshaAllah.

My dear,
You were a joy to discover,
Your soul has been a wonder,
What a beautiful creation of Al-Mubdi,
MashAllah.

Take care.
Fi Aminillah.
