A Light in the Storm

Illustration of hands and feet floating towards the purple coloured sunrise.

In times like these, when shadows fall,
And whispers of worry seem to call,
Know that strength runs deeper still,
Anchored by love, guided by will.

The journey you face is heavy and long.
Yet within the weight, your spirits’ strong.
Though pain may linger and tears may stream,
Hope shines brighter than it may seem.

For even as darkness clouds the way,
The dawn is nearer with each new day.
Cherish the moments, the laughter, the care,
The memories woven, the love you share.

I know this road, I’ve walked its bend,
Where fear and faith seem to blend.
Yet, from my trial, one truth is clear:
Life’s precious gift is always near.

So hold on to hope, let courage reign,
Together, you’ll weather joy and pain.
Lean on each other; you’re never alone.
For love is the seed from which strength is grown.

Your father’s fight is a testament true,
Of the love in his heart that lives in you.
May peace surround, may grace abide,
And may you find comfort with each stride.

With all my heart, I stand with you.
A bond of love, unbroken and true.
And as a survivor, my light I’ll send,
To guide your spirits until the end.
